ABOUT ME
If your home doesn't feel as calm as you'd like, you're not alone. Between work, family and everything else, it's easy to live with a room that never quite works. I help busy homeowners change that, one room at a time.
I didn't plan a career in interiors. I studied and worked in fashion design, but fast fashion never felt right to me: everything looked the same, and nothing was made to last. Later, I worked in quality control for a lifestyle brand, checking furniture and homeware before it reached the shop floor. Somewhere along the way, I realised it was the spaces I cared about, not just the products. I started renovating my own homes, shared the progress on Instagram, and that's how Leesea began.
What that means for you
Fashion taught me how fabric, texture and proportion work together. Quality control taught me what lasts, and what looks good in a photo but won't survive family life. So when I choose a sofa, a rug or a pair of curtains for you, I'm thinking about how it will look and wear in five years, not just on day one. That helps you avoid costly mistakes.
My style: calm, classic, coastal-inspired
Leesea (pronounced lee-see) is named after the sea, and the feeling you get at the coast: lots of natural light, space around you, and nothing asking for your attention. I want your room to give you that same feeling every day, wherever you live.
I create it with warm off-whites, natural textures like linen, rattan and oak, layered lighting and a touch of blue-and-white. I mix old and new so rooms feel balanced, personal and easy to live in. You choose how much of the coast you’d like, from barely there, to a little more.
A little about me
I grew up in South Africa and have called England home since 2006, so I bring a little of both to my work: the warmth and light of South Africa, and a British love of quality, craft and classic pieces. I'm also a mum of two, so I know a home has to work for real life, not just look good in photos.
